College of Arts and Sciences Advising and Support Services Hub (CASSH)
Advising Mission
Our mission in the College Advising & Support Services Hub (CASSH) is to foster a collaborative, purposeful and empowering academic advising experience that cultivates mutual respect and prepares students to make well-informed decisions as they pursue their academic and professional goals. A core component of this mission is to provide extensive support to our faculty academic advisors, offering policy expertise and prompt assistance as they mentor and guide students toward academic success.
The College of Arts and Sciences Advising and Support Services Hub (CASSH) is located on the first floor of I.G. Greer Hall. The Advising office is staffed by professional advisors and records specialists who serve current and prospective students, as well as faculty and staff in the College of Arts and Sciences at Appalachian State University. Students are encouraged to visit the office for assistance with academic planning and questions, registration and senior checks.
