The Council of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) meets the first Tuesday of each month during the academic year at 3 p.m. Unless otherwise noted, the meetings are held in I.G. Greer Room 224.

The Council is composed of departmental chairs and assistant chairs, the Dean's Office staff, the Appalachian Studies program director and the CAS Career Coach in the Career Development Center. Voting is limited to one vote per department, including the Appalachian Studies program.
