The Council of the College of Arts and Sciences (Membership List) meets the first Tuesday of each month during the academic year at 3:00 p.m. Unless otherwise noted, the meetings are held in Belk Library and Information Commons Room 421. The Council is composed of departmental chairs and assistant chairs, the dean's office staff, the Appalachian Studies program director and one career counselor from Career Development. Voting is limited to one vote per department, including the Appalachian Studies program.
