Appalachian State University’s Dr. Amanda C. Howell, along with 11 other educators in the Sun Belt Conference, was recognized Monday as the league announced its inaugural Faculty Member of the Year Awards.

Dr. Richard Klima and Dr. Don Presnell will assume new positions as Directors in University College at Appalachian State University beginning July 1, 2019. Klima was named Director of First Year Seminar, and Presnell was appointed Director of the Common Reading Program.
