This award was instituted in 1998 to honor alumni who have distinguished themselves through their remarkable contributions to a profession, through their ability to provide leadership, through public service activities, through outstanding creative endeavors or through other accomplishments. To nominate alumni for the Outstanding Alumni Award, visit https://cas.appstate.edu/alumni/outstanding-cas-alumni.
Candidates must have completed a program of study at Appalachian State University in the College of Arts and Sciences no less than five years prior to the award. Nominees remain eligible for three years.
