‘It runs in the family’ — App State alumnus Tony Harris ’92 inspires next generation of Mountaineers

BOONE, N.C. — The Harris household in Charlotte wears a lot of black and gold. Tony Harris Sr. ’92 and his daughter Lundyn Harris ’16 are alumni of Appalachian State University — and his daughter Jaeda Harris and son Tony Harris II are current students.

Dr. Michael Reddish is an assistant professor in App State’s Department of Chemistry and Fermentation Sciences. The Reddish Lab focuses on studying human cytochrome P450 enzymes — proteins that are involved in the body’s metabolism of steroid hormones, pharmaceuticals, carcinogens and fat-soluble vitamins. BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State University has released the Dean’s and Chancellor’s lists for the fall 2022 semester.

678 students in the College of Arts and Sciences were included on the Chancellor's list and 1,120 were included on the Dean's list.
