BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State University is one of seven colleges and universities nationwide named a Top Producing Institution of Fulbright scholars and students for the 2025–26 academic year, according to the U.S. Department of State and Institute of International Education.

From Hell and Bent on Returning [student featured]

Imagine a slimy, speckled tube with four legs that appear to have been attached with spare parts. The toes — four on the front legs, five on the rear — resemble blown-up rubber gloves. The head is bumpy on top with a wide, flat mouth that curves into a smile.

Fall 2025 Dean's and Chancellor's Lists Released

BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State University has released the Dean’s and Chancellor’s lists for the fall 2025 semester.

836 students in the College of Arts and Sciences were included on the Chancellor's list, and 1,271 were included on the Dean's list.
