Minors
The Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree requires a minor outside the academic discipline of the major. For example: An English (BA) student must have a minor from outside the English department. The minor can be from another college or from within the college of major.
The requirements for all minors are available in the Undergraduate Bulletin. Majors, minors, and general education must all share the same catalog year, so when students review the requirements for a minor, they should be sure to search the correct corresponding catalog year.
Program Changes
Students who have already declared their majors in the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), should use the CAS Change of Program Request Form to add/change/drop a major/minor/certificate or change their catalog year or campus. For advising assistance, CAS students should contact CAS Advising and Support Services.
