BOONE, N.C. — In the Spring and Fall, Appalachian State University's Cratis D. Williams School of Graduate Studies seeks nominations for the Cratis D. Williams Society. The Society is designed to recognize the top two percent of graduates from the School of Graduate Studies each year. Inductees are chosen from among the nominees based upon their academic performance, their engagement in their discipline, and their potential for leadership.
The Fall 2022 Cratis D. Williams Society inductees from the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) are all alumni of the College. They are:
Turner Delph '21, Master of Public Administration, Department of Government and Justice Studies
Joshua Platt '21, Master of Arts in Geography, Department of Geography and Planning
Lee Sturgis '20, Master of Science in Biology, Department of Biology
Molly Thomas '21, Master of Arts in Political Science, Department of Government and Justice Studies
Cratis D. Williams Society inductees will be honored with a medallion that may be worn at Commencement, and will be recognized at the Spring Graduate Student Awards Reception.
