Position Description:
Digital Media Resource Assistants Kings Mountain National Military Park is part of the Southern Campaign of the American Revolution parks group and is located near Blacksburg, South Carolina. The Park is seeking an App State student or recent graduate with a background in communication, history, education, Spanish and/or web design to develop and provide digital media products about the Southern Campaign for local students, teachers and other Park visitors. The requested content will be incorporated into the Park website.

Work duties will be performed both at Park headquarters and independently at locations of the selected applicants’ choosing (to be determined by project progress). While often referred to as “interns,” the selected applicants will be employees of App State and the State of North Carolina (i.e., not Federal employees), serving as partners with the National Park Service. The positions will be full time (40 hrs. per week) and the period of performance will be May 10 – August 31, 2021. Applications will be accepted through 5 p.m. on January 22, 2021.
