Dr. Holt Wilson is an associate professor of mathematics education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he teaches courses for prospective and practicing mathematics teachers and mathematics education doctoral students. His research focuses on teacher learning, professional development, and the use of research evidence in practice and contributes to a growing field of research that aims to better understand the ways teachers learn and improve throughout their careers

In this talk, he will share findings from a series of studies examining the efforts of a statewide partnership of mathematics educators and researchers to support large-scale improvements in mathematics instruction.
