BOONE, N.C. — The Appalachian State University College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) is pleased to announce that Vivid Oguntoyinbo ’22 has been appointed the Business Officer of Operations, effective December 1, 2025.
Oguntoyinbo joined the CAS Dean's Office in 2018. As a University Program Associate, she assisted with grant proposals, student employment, summer courses, and travel and managed college programs such as the National Park Service Liaison, Hughlene Bostian Frank Visiting Writers Series, and Morgan Science Lecture Series.
In 2022, Oguntoyinbo earned her Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in interdisciplinary business and a graduate certificate in business analytics from App State's Walker College of Business.
In her new role as Business Officer of Operations, Oguntoyinbo will manage the college's internal databases, track annual and post-tenure reviews, provide guidance on policies and procedures, and assist with training, scheduling, and events. She will work alongside Michelle Holcombe, who was appointed the Business Officer of Personnel in July.
