BOONE, N.C. — The 2026-27 Appalachian Scholarship Application Portal (ASAP) opened today, December 1, 2025, and closes Saturday, February 7, 2026. Through ASAP, App State students are automatically matched with the scholarships they qualify for. The portal can be accessed at asap.appstate.edu.
Beginning this cycle, ASAP is powered by Scholarship Universe. Students can access the portal from their mobile phones and opt to receive email and text alerts when new scholarship opportunities become available. A new feature allows students to be matched with external scholarships in addition to university ones.
In 2025, CAS awarded over $360,000 in scholarship funds to over 200 students. For more information about CAS scholarships, visit cas.appstate.edu/students/scholarships.
