BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State University's Veterinary Technology program is soliciting pet supply donations to help local pets during their second pet food drive. Between January 29 and February 9, donate dog and cat food and cat litter via a campus drop box. For campus drop box locations, visit rri.appstate.edu/vet-tech/pet-food.
Donations benefit the Watauga Humane Society's Pet Food Pantry, a resource for community pet owners. The pantry supplies food once a month to eligible recipients who have provided proof that their pet is spayed or neutered. The pantry relies on generous donations from the community to operate.
