BOONE, N.C. — Two members of Appalachian State University's College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) were recently recognized with staff shout-outs. Awarded by Staff Senate, these recognitions honor staff members who make positive contributions across the University.
Patrick Richardson
Richardson serves as the CAS Electrical Engineer, supporting research and laboratory work across the college. "Patrick is an amazing electronic expert in the college," wrote a colleague in the Department of Computer Science. "Xe not only helped redesign our PCB boards, but also ensured they did what they were supposed to do. Xe mentored our students to test these boards and debug errors." The nominator added that Richardson should be recognized for "the highest quality work and collaboration."
Scott Roblee ’16
Roblee serves as the Business Officer of Personnel in the CAS Dean's Office. A colleague in the Office of Human Resources praised Roblee for his dedication to leadership development and his participation in the inaugural Ridge: Leading Others cohort, writing, "Over four weeks, Scott invested time and energy in strengthening his leadership skills, building connections with colleagues across campus, and exploring ways to better support and positively influence others.
