Cindy Trivette recognized with two staff shout-outs in March

BOONE, N.C. — Cindy Trivette, administrative support specialist in the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, received two staff shout-outs in March. Awarded by Staff Senate, these recognitions honor staff members who make positive contributions across the University.

A colleague shared about Trivette, “In the last year, we have been dealing with construction that has affected faculty. Cindy has helped us through this and has kept the department running smoothly. She is a great colleague to have.”

Another wrote, “Thanks for shepherding us through our building renovation and always being so on top of helping us with everything we need to get tasks done. You rock!”

Trivette joined the department in 2011. During her time at App State, she has served as a Building Emergency Team Coordinator, as an App State Staff Senator, and as a committee member for AppKIDS. Outside of work, she enjoys crocheting, reading, traveling to the beach, and spending time with her family.
