Presented by Tammi Smith, MEd, CVT, RVT, VTS (Dentistry)
Increasingly, vets are talking to people about their pet's oral care. Please join our talk where App State's Tammi Smith shares important tips to help maintain your pet's teeth and the importance of oral health. Are cleanings necessary for pets? Do these treats that offer oral cleaning really help? Smith will present information and respond to your questions. She holds a veterinary technician specialist (VTS) degree, an advanced degree for credentialed veterinary technicians, with a specialty in dentistry.

Appalachian State University’s Department of Rural Resilience and Innovation is one of 17 academic departments in the College of Arts and Sciences and serves as a hub for App State faculty, staff and students working on scholarship, teaching and service with rural community partners.
