The Actuarial Science (BS), offered by Appalachian State's Department of Mathematical Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences, provides a foundation in mathematics and business for students wishing to pursue a career in actuarial science or a related field. The Walker College of Business provides key business courses to support the degree and departments work together to support guest speakers, student trips to conferences, and more.
